Here is my 2009 entry for the Gunmetalblack contest!

I chose badass Kirone. She was in color but with the way I had it she seemed a bit more garish than she usually is so I greyscaled the whole bloody thing. As I was drawing her, I also came to the conclusion from looking at the original...some of these characters must spend several hours just getting dressed! Kirone did not have an ounce of skin showing! So I simplified her design a bit (per usual, actually) and gave her a bit of a sexier version of her outfit.

I then redrew part of the blood fountain that was a fairly recent arrival in Gunmetalblack's gallery because I thought it suited Kirone.

I hope everyone enjoys this!

Ooh, nice redesign! I love the skimpy new outfit and her cheerful pose.

And double points for pulling in the blood fountain, that's just awesome.

Now I just need to get off my ass and start working on my entry!!
